The training program focuses on accreditation standards and self-evaluation measures for academic programs, as well as the application of best practices in preparing evidence and reports to qualify academic programs for programmatic accreditation.
Preparing and writing a self-study report - program accreditation

The trainee learns how to properly formulate learning outcomes for academic programs, measure their results, and prepare reports on the assessment outcomes and proposed improvement plans through a variety of training activities.
How to measure program learning outcomes and formulate improvement plans

The trainee learns how to calculate performance indicators for academic programs, develop improvement plans, and prepare reports on the results of performance indicator assessments through a variety of training activities.

The trainee becomes familiar with the new models for writing the Self-Study Report (SSR) for academic programs issued by the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation (2023 models). Training covers how to complete the different sections of the SSR, as well as how to draft self-study reports for various program accreditation standards through a range of practical training activities.

The trainee learns how to write academic program specifications and course specifications based on the 2023 models issued by the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation. The training also includes preparing annual program reports and course reports through various training activities and events conducted during the program.

Program Participants – Numbers and Diversity
The total number of participants in the series of programs reached 682 trainees (including repeated participation), consisting of 369 male trainees and 313 female trainees. A total of 235 faculty members benefited from these programs, including 118 males and 117 females (with at least one participation).
Participation was distributed across 14 colleges, with the College of Agricultural and Food Sciences recording the highest participation rate, followed by the College of Science and then the College of Arts. The remaining participation was spread across various other colleges, deanships, and administrative units at the university.
A total of 110 trainees successfully completed the requirements to obtain the certificate (attending at least four training programs), including 64 male trainees and 46 female trainees.
